  glad i didn’t apply. . i love how you all state the biggest reason for NOT traveling is money, but you pick two people who obviously do have means and have traveled all over. Their vids weren’t even that great. . . sta sucks!

  I took my disappointment and redirected it into planning a trip to Costa Rica in May and a trip to Chicago in July. Woo, travel!!!

  The views can be misleading. If you posted your video on the first day then you had months more of viewing than someone who posts on the last day.

  Congratulations and good luck to the top 20 applicants. I found it a little disappointing that so many videos that were longer than the required time frame made it to the top 20 because to me, that shows that they can’t follow some fairly simple instructions, but congratulations nonetheless. Obviously they did something right.

  Wait, now I wanna vote, haha

  I give Bob Faucette and Lindsay Clark an A++. from first impressions, these two stand out the most. Linz’s MAD experiences, fun personality, excellent communication skills w/ Bob’s film background, creativity and rock’n sense of humor. . . just to name a few put these two together and you would be mixing fire and gas. Simply put,they’re the best!

  P. S. I don’t even know them. Although it stinks not to make it, I’d be proud to see the two of you represent us!!!

  Congrats to the those who made it in the top 20. 425 vids is a lot to weed through so good work judges! I know a lot of us invested a great deal of time into this application so give yourself a huge pat on the back for going for it!. . . and yeah, this is just a bump so keep on traveling the world and going for opportunities like this one!!!

  Just saw the top 20. As an objective outsider, I believe that whoever selected these videos, has no ability to comprehend a good story when you see it. First of all the people that posted a video of themselves just talking showed no ability to make me want to travel. Isn’t that the goal. I mean don’t get me wrong, but isn’t the goal to sell more tickets. Seeing a rather girly man sit in a dorm room and rant for 3 minutes about travel doesn’t make me want to but a ticket. . .

  Im sorry I came off so cocky in the video. I have to agree that I do! I was hoping to come of confident. Maybe after watching some of the lower end videos I felt a large boost. But when I showed it to my friends they didn;t think so so I posted as is. I’m sure if you watch some of my other stuff you will notice this is the first time I am this cocky! I promise that you would see a much less cocky version of myself if sent on the trip!
